Hi guys. I got this Zaskar frame recently so I decided that I have to have it
So for start I have few questions and I hope answers will help me decide how to build it
Since I noticed some stickers which are not standard (additional GT logos) and some from possible sponsors, is it possible that this frame (bike) was racing sometime in past?
Frame seems in good condition, no big scratches or dents - polishing should be no problem on that one, right? What about anodizing? Did somebody try to do it? what are potential issues? How to find out what were original anodization color codes?
I was thinking building it with XT M737/739 group and Judy SL fork, but not sure about the other stuff... I mean, I have catalogue pages, but would also like to know what alternatives are there - grips, bar ends, stem, handlebar, seat post, seat QR, seat, wheels, tires? And of course if somebody can offer some parts, would be great.
One thing I'm always looking at is weight, so lighter, the better, but also not to go to extremes... since I have around 105 kg, so not really easy on bike
