Here's a new project im very excited about. A gorgeous Sapphire Blue/Purple fade 1994 Team Fat chance Yo Eddy.
M/L so the perfect size for me.

Currently adorned with some stunning Grafton/Syncros Kit, i'm going to go in a slightly different direction. I want this to be totally rideable, it'll be one of my regular riders so im going for XTR M900 kit and some titanium flourishes. Syncros Ti seatpost, a titanium stem and titanium bars.

I've got most of the bits, so it wont be a long drawn out thread. 76C7C8DB-4600-450F-9820-AEE7D8631F09.jpeg C09B49E3-381D-4D4E-91BF-77614BCA572B.jpeg

Man that looks pristine! I always wonder how such bikes could last for nearly 30 years, never to be ridden in anger. Or is it a repaint?

Plans changing, build progressing. I’m keeping sone of the black kit, it just looks lovely. So Syncros cranks, stem, bars and seatpost staying. Brakes are going XTR for practicality.
Wheels are black Ringle with Mavic ceramic rims. Looking amazing so far. D5F065A8-E050-4A4E-8E21-E052E032976C.jpeg 6D34B4C0-C478-4996-BEFA-8DCAB91508F7.jpeg 4564A22A-3A01-4634-B2AC-68827BC3CB5E.jpeg EBCB6DBB-1DAF-4390-ACA0-402E1EACDB9C.jpeg

Awesomely clean and classy build! Not too crazy on frame color or parts colors. No rasta Kookas or whatever. Simply classy and awesome build-up-start.

That´s so sweet i want to eat it! .. (told w/ a Hannibal Lecter voice). Now seriously: vintage mtb does not get any better than that. Titanium may be better but I like steel and Fat City built exquisite steel bikes. Those later 93/94 Yos and Wickeds are refined! That paint is luscious. All it needs is riding scars...
