On my opinion both of that tires are completly wrong.

I think that you need colour tires maximum 2.1, but 1.9 fit best.
Ritchey tires are too new.... I have the same problem on my p22...

I like the tyres, anything thats different is good in my book! 8)

Do you find the tyres move due to a narrow(ish) rim though?

I had some 2.35's on some Spinergy Xyclones. I had to remove them after a while, it felt like the wheels were buckled at speed, particularly the rear :!:

According to these the Yo Eddy was originally designed so it had clearance to run Spesh 2.5 tyres. But yep, tyres are always a very subjective decision.

The 2.5" tyres are great at soaking up the bumps. Used for Mr K's Peaks ride :D. Before the clean up operation....
