Hi,
My wife and I bought 2 bikes new back in 1994. They only ever had very light, occasional weekend use (the odd old railway trail), but have now been in the garage for the past 10 years - so, time to find them good homes.
This is my wife’s Specialized Rock Hopper. Bought in 1994 I think, but not sure which years model it is (1993, 1994?).
17 inch from centre of crank to top of seat post (see last photo)
Very good original condition, with original tyres, seat and handle grips.
As with my bike, the rear gear shift doesn’t work. I’ve been told that it is probably a lever or something seized inside the shifter from lack of use. I’ve tried WD40, but no luck. Looks like a job for someone who knows what they’re doing (which isn’t me). They are Shimano Altus A10 if that helps.
Looking for £100 and someone who wants to use it. Collection from Virginia Water (GU25).
