Withdrawn 1994? Selle Italia Flite Transalp £65

Russell

Old School Grand Master
No idea what this is worth, used eBay as a guide and prices varied wildly from £50 to £200.

Pictures tell the tale, it’s a survivor and has a couple of scuffs with two tears, one on the nose and one on the offside rear. I will clean the underside before shipping!

£65 posted, PP gift or add 5% for fees please.

Might be a little over priced. I've sold a few flite alpes/ transalps on here recently for £30-45 depending on the condition.

Nice reaction (eBay link isn’t my saddle BTW).

Both times you’ve sold a similar saddle, they sold the same day and one had multiple interested buyers which implies not that mine is too expensive, but that you undersold yours. Sorry for your loss.

I’ve naively sold things cheap on this site only to see them advertised again for a profit very shorty afterwards. Got burnt, that’s not how I roll these days.

Perfectly open to offers on my saddle FWIW, but £30-£45 isn’t going to get it.

No problem, Russell. No offense meant. But eBay prices are always inflated (partly to cover fees and partly because of profit hunters on that site). A year or two ago the market was very different, people had a lot more disposable income, and retro parts were selling for very high prices. That has changed now, and parts are either selling for much less than they were or not selling at all. I'm not unhappy with the sale price of any of my items.

Like I say, no offense meant. Best of luck with the sale 👍

Wow…

I’ve purchased a couple of these over the last few weeks in far better condition for £25/£30, one of which is now on my Breezer, it was that good!…

Think you are being a little strong on your price matey…It’s the hole in the leather that kills it👍🏼
