I make no bones about the fact that this thread may not get updated that often. I'm not exactly knowledgeable when it comes to completely stripping down a bike.
How it started off - I might have a spare, retro front wheel in the shed somewhere, but the rear i know has gone to the tip.
I've already embarrassed myself by trying to work out how big a BB to buy and measuring the wrong bit. Oops.
But as I've now stripped the bike down and started buying bits I figure I may as well keep a record.
First off. Bit of a clean up of the rear mech.
Thanks to advice from others I've now found out what it is. XTR RD900.
Probably needs new jockey wheels, but I've reassembled it as is for now. Trying to keep costs down so if it's a bit rough then I'll change them.
