1994 ORANGE E2

Old School Hero
Its seems that my E2 is VERY rare, ive never seen another anywhere... Although i did custom build it in 1994 for about £1800.

Spec:

17.5in Orange E2 Frame
Manitou 4 Forks
M737 XT Mechs
M737 Shifters/Levers
M737 Crankset
M525 SPD Pedals
Hope Hubs
Mavic 217 SUP rims
USE Seatpost
Renthal Sub130 Bars
Kalloy Uno Stem (soon to be Orange SK8)
Club Roost Bar Ends
Selle Italia Flight Ti Saddle

I only used at weekends for about 18 month and she still has original Panaracer Smoke/Dart tyres...

I have just got her out of the garage, and as you may have read else where the forks need new elastomers and over the weekend i am going to rip her apart, service and re-cable her...

now i was considering to start riding her again, until i came across this website, and it seems you guy cherish retro bikes, where as i was just going to ride her to destruction...

cheers

a few years has passed and ive been out on the e2 half a dozen times.

and ive just reminded myself, i need to put that bloody SK8 stem on too!

as per my other thread im on the lookout for some new elastomers.

but in the meantime, what are my options in getting that frame all shiny and new?

im rather lazy and short on DIY time, so be nice if i can just send it off and get in back all spangly.

or am i best just spending a couple of hours with some kind of polishing substance?

im even open to a whole new paint job, not sure if prefer original though.

can i buy new decals anywhere? (bit of googling found zilch).

can i even get the old ones off?

mucho gracias

not found any replacement spongy things/elastomers/mcu's anywhere online in the UK.

only one place in the states. and £40 seems a bit steep. could be my only option.
