1994 Kona Kilauea

I've not updated this in a while, this has ended up being my most used bike, changed the saddle and post for a Bontrager Titanium (more comfy) and Race post (lighter) respectively, a Titec 118 bar and after a spate of thorn punctures, tubeless Continental Race Kings. It hovers around the 23lb mark, is super comfortable and an absolute joy to ride. I'm really glad it didn't sell when I tried! 😂 DSC_0978.webp

Nice upgrades. Assuming you're still running the X221 rims? What ghetto tubeless method have you chosen? Is it working well?

This was my most used bike then I got my Charge sorted and it's been sadly neglected for a few months.
The other day I was swapping bits around on my Bontrager Race Lite and was left with a box of shiny bits. Saw this looking all sad in the corner, a light bulb went off and this is the result.
White Industries cranks/rings and Ti BB.
White Industries hubs built on BCX Red rims with Revolution spokes and alu nipples.
M900/910/950 mechs/cassette with polished Suntour thumbies.
Avid Ultimate levers, Tri Align brakes.
Titec Ti bar and post.
Bontrager Ti saddle.
Onza Ti pedals.
It's a beautiful riding bike and deserves a bit of bling. 👍 😁 _20241207_100050.webp _20241207_100125.webp _20241207_100203.webp DSC_1602.webp DSC_1603.webp DSC_1604.webp DSC_1605.webp
