My first proper mtb was a 93 tequesta, loved it. Been a GT fanboy ever since. In my eyes no matter what model it is they just look right. Great job, subtle changes and it looks lovely!

I like the Kookas and the Marzocchis - colours compliment each other well

They do work nicely and they’re interesting parts in their own right. I’ve got to fit a new BB so I’ll make a decision on the cranks then.

Thanks and I totally agree. Even without the crazy paint jobs, the frames are pretty distinctive-you could paint them any colour and you’d still know it was a GT

Love your build so far. I just picked up a 94 Tequesta. Not sure on build path yet. Currently just getting the shifters working and trying to find some new grips for the bars. Mine has the full STX drivetrain and hubs.
