Hey guys,
Just got my bike back after 14 or so years, it needs a few parts to get it up and going. I have the forks stripped and cleaned waiting for new elastomers to arrive from Pace. What a job to get all the old ones out, they were stuck solid. I also spent about 5 hrs or so cleaning the old oil and muck off the gears and derailers t-cut the paint and then waxed the frame, much to the irritation of my poor wife
but its looking quite good for an 18 year old bike.
I bought the bike out of my first few weeks wages the summer after i finished school, it was my pride and joy so really looking forward to the restoration.
Any advice or suggestions much appreciated
Mick
