Most brake bridges were straight I think.
My 53 Holdsworth Whirlwind and 61 Holdsworth Cyclone have curved bridges.

And I've just remembered the other bike I know with that curved brake adjuster support - 1950s Claud Butler European.

I know the Viking SV had one, but Nervex lugs generally.

Rotrax were known for curved bridges, lots of builders did them. The cable stop doesn't look to specific to me.

Went for £240 which was more than the other frames, probably a reasonable price.
Would still like to know what it is though.

I thought £50 for the white Claud was a bargain.

Fortunately nothing remotely my size in that auction so I was an enthusiastic observer.

I'd still like to know the size of the fancy lug frame, from pics I'm guessing around 23", or possibly 22" - seat is up a lot.

I'm still finishing up on a 53 Holdsworth Whirlwind so I don't really need it though.

I was at the auction on other business and bought a few of the bikes including this one

The frame number is 7271 and it has 03 stamped separately to the bottom left of the frame number. It also has PR4 1EU lightly stamped which I presume is a postcode.

I am mountain bike so don’t have a clue what it is I just buy a few bikes occasionally on my travels.

If anyone needs any more photos to try to identify it let me know. It feels very light but I suppose it would do compared with an MTB.

That postcode is Preston which might also be a clue: north west of Manchester a bit
