Thank you, it might not be high end but was certainly a dream bike as a teenager.
The frames really nice quality, some great features like a chain pip, front mech cable hanger and TREK embossed seatstay junctions.

We all want the bikes we lusted after as younger men High end doesn't matter to me, none of mine are high end. I like Carreras I bet it rides just fine though.

I just picked up a n 18" Trek Antelope 850 SHX to replace the MB-3 I never should have gotten rid of. Is there a primer thread somewhere that you can refer me to on rebuilding the SHX? Thanks!

I’m afraid I don’t know of a specific guild for the fork, I’d just strip it, see what you have, clean it and re grease if all in good order.
