If you're interested in this model, I finished my Trek 8300 build last year. (I think I paid £70 for the frame from a member on here)Did you finish it? How much did you buy the frame for?
Hi, I never posted about it but I recently got a 1992 TREK 8700 Composite in pretty poor conditions. So poor I’m still not sure I want to do something with it. The only good news is the seatpost’s missing, which is way better than a stuck one…

Thanks, I’m still not sure what to do about this. I’m not a big carbon fiber fan and the stem and cranks appear to be stuck. Don’t know how difficult it would be and - I was going to have it stripped out by a pro but at the moment I’d rather focus on my 1988 team Stumpjumper and the complete rebuild of my Bianchi NTH.You're probably better off starting a new thread for you bike.
