I recently bought this as a complete bike.
Underneath that horrible paint (which someone has applied to make the bike look less desirable) lurks a 1993 Rocky Mountain Altitude frame in metallic green.
I can't find a serial number inside the head tube, or underneath the bottom bracket shell, but after listening to information from other Retrobikers I'm 99.9% sure that it's an Altitude.
Frame comes with the original Raceface Turbine cloverleaf cranks, the original gold seat collar, Dave Yates forks (with specialized crown) and a Specialized titanium bottom bracket which is running nice and smoothly.
Measurements:
Seat Tube 19.5" C-T.
Top Tube 22.5" C-C.
Measurements are approximate as I only had a ruler to hand!
Asking £230 posted to UK SOLD (fluffychicken)
This might sound like a lot for such a grubby looking frame, but bear in mind that the cranks would usually sell for over £100 on their own, and the bottom bracket isn't exactly a cheapy either, neither are the forks... When you look at it like that, you're effectively getting an RM Altitude frame for around £70-£80 which is an absolute bargain!
