1993 Orange Prestige Fluoro

That's what I was thinking.

Was hoping to get the cabling done this afternoon but did some more work on my Shock a Billy. Why is building/riding/collecting Retros so bloody addictive?!!!!! ;)

Now cabled up and almost finished.

Couple of issues:

1) The eagle eyed may have spotted that the front mech cable is looped up, this is due to the left hand shifter only wanting to shift once. I may try cleaning it but have placed a wanted as for an XTR M900 left hand shifter in good working order.

2) The forks are way too soft for my 13 1/2 stone. I have some spare elastomers that came with the fork, they are clear so not sure what rating they are.

3) The black XT post will be swapped out with an in line USE post in silver once the correct shim arrives. This will match the cockpit and bring the saddle forward a touch.

Apart from these minor issues I'm very happy with the result. Quick road test confirms it's light and agile. Good way to use up parts I had kicking about :) (just don't tell the boss I bought a load as well!!!)

I'm pleased with it, or will be when I get those last bits sorted.

I think I need to stop building bikes this spring and paint my garage door.

Great to see another flouro prestige up and about!
well done for keeping the original decals.
I wonder how many of these were painted this way.

here's mine. 8)
