What have you used to this result ?

manual or mechanical polished ?


Now a good component on

started with 400 grit wet and dry... then 800 then 1200.. then used a fine wire brush on the end of my dremel..

then used lots of autosol and elbow grease!! old socks make excellent polishing cloths too!!

then a final rub down with brasso and a good rub all over with a clean cotton cloth its like a mirror now

probably wont stay like that for long though!! i intend to ride it lots!!

got the bike built up last night finally!! and apart from the shock topping out like a mad thing (see other thread here http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=53180 all the time it rides beautifully!!

will take some pics tonight when i get home and stick them on here
