A few days ago I stumbled upon a local ad. It just said "Full suspension Mountainbike with top of the line components". Reasonable price. 280 Euro.

Doesn't look too shabby. You can always use another set of racelines. That Marzocchi bomber Z2 - I've always wanted one of these. Is that a set of Smoke/Dart still on there? Whats with that ginormous chain ring, I wonder.
Didn't particularly think about the actual frame. No manufacurer decals. Just another akward early suspension thing. That shock would be knackered anyhow. Maybe another wall decoration.
So I texted the guy, drove over, took a closer look - every important part looked in very good nick. Haggled the price down to 180 and prepared myself mentally to face my wife's stare.
