1992 Trek 9500, waste of Shimano XTR?

It was of its time, distinct and quirky......perhaps not the best answer to the suspension issue, but that doesn't stop the rest of us enjoying our quirky kit.....ride and enjoy it I say!......I will have it off you if you don't want it!...

I think what made them so bad is what makes the so cool today. Definitely not the best for evey day riding but very much a big part of MTB history.

Since we got this one, we did take the 1992 9000 apart and will be selling the frame. $200 + shipping and it is on the way

That is exactly why we added it o the collection. It is a starting point and an important bike in the evolution of fs bikes. Doesn't make it ride any better though.
