Look forward to seeing this one complete! Good things take time Would you know the eye to eye mm measurement of the rear shock? And was it the same as the coil shock? Sourcing a shock and think the early bikes had a shorter shock.

What sort of shock are you looking for

I have a spare Genesis but as you can see ( comparing to the spare Sam An Shock) ,it's 165mm and too long

Yes would be good but would change the geometry a tad.
