Since the center portion of the spindle is a larger diameter than the ID of the bearing, I was able to hammer/tap the bearings out using the spindle.
Spindle is square taper. Cartridge bearings press fit into the BB shell, and are retained with a circlip on each side. I can use the bolt/socket/washer bearing press method for one side. But I won't be able to do the second one the same way with the spindle in place.
Any ideas for how to install it?
