1992 Marin Team Issue

Here is my Team Issue - so far...
Having the usual trials and tribulations with a retro(ish) build. Missing some key bits of my Pace Forks, Ritchey chainset doesn't fit (on the BB which is stuck solid) - but all things considered I'm happy with how it's going.


Got a mixture of old and modern and especially pleased with the Mint Sauce stickers!
BTW- has anyone ever seen a Flite titanium with a Canadian Maple leaf stitched on it?! I love it and goes with the red theme!

I bought it from an Irish bike shop and it was the only one they had! Don't know if it was a special edition or a team thing.

These early Marin frames are superb! Especially with an old school front sus fork too, I'm fitting a Manitou 1 to my one, I'm just restoring a team issue too..
Gil_m on here can sort you the full frame decal set if you're going down that route, I had mine delivered the other day and they are spot on

I actually like the 'rat' look - I think it's more honest and shows she's been used/loved. I've polished the nickel plating and I'm pleased with the finish - but it's still got plenty of scratches! Haven't had the chance to ride it yet - it better live up to my 20 year old memories! :facepalm:

You'll love the ride. Quite snappy for an old bike and the geometry feels almost modern.
