Need to get shot of my lovely resto-mod Marin to make space for a new boingy modern bike for my wife.
Brief history - bought frame off Ebay in 2021, restored (including carefully hacking out a very seized BB and seatpost), restickered, and been mostly hanging on the wall since - hence the sale. None of the bits are showroom or perfect (except the NOS headset and BB), though everything works perfectly, and I bought it with a small ding in the top tube (pictured). It was very much built to be ridden, so bear that in mind.
I imagine most of you reading this know the details and heritage, but if not, there's a '92 Catalogue in the archive. It should be hung with XTR, but I'm forever reluctant to go beyond XT.
Been completely out of touch with pricing since I put it together, so starting off at £700 plus post. Please do feel free to tell me I'm dreaming if that's way off. May split if no interest. Can be viewed in Folkestone, Kent. And more pics available on request.
