Agreed, and the Thompson post is worth £40+/-, so you're never going to get a Hei Hei for less. Well done!

Interesting Andrew thinks it's a 95, but the seller was persuaded it was a 94 not a 92 - in which case the 94 catalogue pic must be wrong. Hmmm, I wonder what the serial number will turn out to be? Another test as between 92 and 94/95 will be the c-c tt length - if 94/95 58cm, if 92 56.5cm.

I suspect that the seller was convinced it was a 94 due to the 94 catalogue being easily available online. The MY95 Hei Hei would have been available in Sept/Oct 94 so its quite possible it was purchased in 94, hence fitting the 94 story.

Head tube decal colour points to MY95 though, assuming its the original decal. MY94s were a different colour.

The bullet ends on the chain and seat stays at the drop out appeared in MY94 so it can't be any older than that.

Here's a MY96 version sporting the short seat tube extension too..
