1992 Klein Adroit

The blue changes quite a bit depending on the light, from a midnight blue to almost turquoise.

I’m thinking of XT M735 pedals for it rather than 737 SPD’s. Think I know where to find NOS sets of both, not yet heard how much they'd set me back.

Also just finishing off the Kona Hot, might be done today. Then it’s either finishing the Attitude or my brother wants a Rascal, Yo Eddy or Kona Hot. So the search for parts continues.

Re:

Very nice!

I would change pedals (to PD-M735 or Suntour XC Pro; the platform ones used look to modern) and take black grips (red is out of place).

I know, Syncros Revos are nice but I would like to see this bike with a silver crank.

Thanks. Yeah the pedals will be changed to either NOS 735's or 737's just waiting to hear how poor they'll make me. Quite like the grips, they're not as red in real life but a dark burgundy, check you colour wheels for what goes with blue. I really like the cranks no way they're going!

Wow! that looks racy! Funny, it looks smaller then my 20" Klein's. I really do like this color, it's beautiful!

Thanks, I'm happy with how it's turned out apart from the pedals which is easy to rectify. Think the SLR saddle makes a difference to how racy it looks.

Re:

Thought I'd show the Nukeproof hub together with the Nukeproof ti skewer as the skewers seem pretty rare. They're minimalistic and basic, no cam, so a souped up nut and bolt. That could explain why they're rare.

Just sorted out more appropriate pedals. Had looked for M735's but was offered some NOS silver caged Grafton Speed Traps sans the clip in hardware, so posher clip and straps pedals.

The pedals arrived, look good. I had a set years ago for some stupid reason I threw them out when I started using SPD's.
