If it was correctly priced it would have easily sold since they come up so rarely.

So many questions ….. BB stuck….. Seat tube cracked or just paint …… mech hanger bolt ……

At minimum it needs a repaint. Max is that it’s almost scrap.

On the flip side. At least it’s had a life , that’s well used rather than hung on a wall.

If it was reasonably priced and more local I’d take a look. It would be a great project but it’s triple what I think it’s worth.

It’s worth a punt at maybe £300.. and it would still be a tense-as-hell unboxing, even at that price. Those are thin wall tubes and that bike has seen a lot of action.

Limited numbers sold. Even rarer to find for sale.

If it was in decent condition (not mint) his price would be correct at £600-800. Basically same as a Xizang

I think this frame's condition is going to put a lot off people off, even if it was cheaper, to be honest!
Especially for people who would otherwise not balk at spending that kind of money!

If it’s just paint and decals, then £300 is a fair price on the basis I’d happily paid £650 for a mint one in that size, and I can refinish for considerably less than the difference.

If it’s not structurally sound or that bb is a permanent addition, then things are different.. but all moot, given the frame is certainly not listed for £300.

I'm actually quite pleased it is an 18". Although I have other 18" GT's if I was going to pay top whack for one I would want a 16". Price and value are always a personal thing though. But, if it was (considerably) cheaper then I would definitely be interested in restoring it.
