1992 GT Bravado

I found a large 92 Bravado on Craigs this weekend. Great deal from a fellow Retrobiker!

Been looking for a early 90's project to start and have begun sizing this one up. This will be my first bike requiring a U-brake. Cleaned the frame a bit and tried on some bit more moden parts. I would like to build this up to be a 9 speed retro xc fun bike. Just need to sort the fork options and brake out. Love this frame though. Had one back in 2002 but it was too small for me. This maybe be too big, bigger better then too small.

Wow, I didn't even see your location status under your avatar and I was ready to ask if these pictures were taken in California...I swear I don't know why...

Cool project and cool bike, looking forward to see what will happen to it :)

Does anyone have a good source for replaceable deraileur hangers from this period GT? This one is pretty bent. Help appreciated!

Cockpit taking form. Waiting for the fork, headset, and saddle to arrive.
