Hey thanks, I think I'll have to find a set of silver Mavic rims for this one the set I threw on there are for my Explosif. I may swap cranks too for something silver with 110 bcd. That's how I got the tires too, they came on my Explosif which I paid a large sum for on ebay 5 years back. The owner said he paid $100 for the pair.

Made some progress on the bike. Still no front derailleur though -waiting for a bottom pull xt to come along, I swapped the rear lx for an xt and the cranks to some FC-M730 that I polished up. They were really ratty looking. I'll snap some more pics when I get it out in a better setting, this is all i have for now.

I'm having the same problem with my red Cinder Cone. I say stick with what you originally had.

Dang! Really? I thought it looked pretty cool!
I didn't like them at first too but it grew on me pretty fast. I've got some new old stock all black wildgrippers on their way so they may make their way on there. I appreciate the constructive criticism.

I do like the black Equilibrium and Propulsion better on this beauty!
But if you're not gone use them, I might be interested in them!

Here she is in full attack mode. I have to say there's a lot of sentimental value tied up in this. In 1994 I had my 1992 Fire Mountain outfitted with BLT's ripped off and never saw it again. This is my tribute to that bike.
