1992 Breezer Lightning XTR

Re:

Very nice job. I have one exactly like it but a little earlier as it does not have the seat tube ovalised at the BB. I seem to recall Joe B has said in the past that the type you have were the better frames. You are very lucky to have found a fork and stem. My bike lost its originals and has a later 1" ahead Breezer fork, but probably from a different model. My fork has mudguard eyes where I think it should have none, and it certainly should be threaded not ahead. Did you manage to find the correct rims?
Look forward to seeing the finished item.

Re:

Very nice. Who did the paint for you? Are all the graphics decals or painted?

Is that a proper Breezer stem? I'm hopefully going to get my hands on one and then I'll start thinking about what to buildit up with. I think my is a later model as the seat binder is on the front of the seat tube.

The paint was done a painter in Germany who is a specialist in airbrush paint. The graphics are decals but the frame will get a proper clear coating now. Yes, the stem is an original breezed one. It will get the full catalogue XTR built with Ritchey Vantage Comp/XTR wheel set.

Best regards

Moritz
