Please take your time to look at the rest of the photos, showing more frame detail - scrapes and scuffs etc.
Bought this as an impluse purchase, but in reality it is too big for me.
So, is it a Zaskar?
Flat GT plate - check
Riveted cable stops/guides - check
USA made frame no. - check (see pics....)
6061 stamp - no.... But, frame number is too early for an Avalanche? (step forward gm1230126 please)
Underneath the blue paint is the original ball burnished alloy finish, so the previous owner reassured me (says he sprayed it, to stop it being stolen!!). Other than the few battle scars it sports, it's in pretty good condition (pics show more detail). Bit of chain suck damaged, bit of handle bar meet top tube damage, and a few other tube scuffs.
Flipflop stem and original GT handlebars, and triple trak forks are all there, also included is a period Dia Compe U-brake.
I've not asked in the 'What's it worth thread', so i'm asking for what i think it might be worth - considering the condition of the paint, and the other parts included in the sale.
£150 posted, securely to UK addresses.
If there is serious interest, and i'm out on the price, please form an orderly queue!!
