1991 trek 6000

the 6000 was bought from ebay as you see it for the princley sum of 65 pounds from a bike shop in kennilworth just before christmas. all i had to do to it was grease the cables, clean the bike and grease the pivot points for the brakes. the store wasnt too happy about the price but hey, thats what reserves are for!

Really loving this, a mate at school had the Trek 830 in the same colourway and we thought it looked the nuts..then I scored a catalogue and saw this...

Great score for £65 too, can't believe it even has the lycra covered saddle still - wet bum in the rain time :wink:

the saddle is the only thing im considering changing but the bike had done less than 200 miles from new according to the shop and judging by the overall condition and the fact its still got the original tyres that are practically new i can well believe it
 
Nice, make sure you look after that front mech, I tried to find one for ages for my 7000.
