1991 Saracen Trekker Hydrotech

Best rim brake I have ever used and I have used a few, believe it or not this set haven't been bled in over 10 years and still work perfectly.
The LX push=push units are rare because they were usually combined with the brake lever mount hence the STi moniker. The only ones that were separate were the 200GS on steel collars. I think there was a special bracket made that I have only seen on saracens that allows you to mount a push-push shifter on it's own bracket for use with levers like Magura.

Right ok, my poor understanding. Well they work well in combo with the maguras so wont be changing them.

As for the maguras, dont think these have been bled for a while given the overall state of the bike not sure they need it either. The lever shape is just brilliant, I really like them. Having only used the yello maguras circa 1997 (HS22?) I thought these older ones may have been noticeably poorer but they were brilliant today so I am very happy.

Most of my photos have been moved thanks to the infuriating photobucket so here they are again:

That'll be why his shifter mounts will have 'Magura' on them :)

I need to pass mine (same model, but smaller!) on - I never ride the poor thing.
