1991 marin pine moutain - help please

my 1990 Palisades is 26.2
1994 Pine Mtn 26.8

I'd take it to LBS and try it out.

26.8 could be a nominal 27.2 post where the tube ovalised during welding from heat distortion. I don't know whether they were all reamed to a sixze or just tried what fitted.

I rebuilt a 1989 Eldridge for my mother in law (!) and that had something huge like a 31.7.

I guess Marin shopped around a fair bit for tubing...
