I bought the frame forks and stem from Gravymonster about two years ago, built it up with Suntour mechs, shifters and brakes and ended up riding it very little, despite enjoying the way it rides. So I've decided to sell the following:
Frame 1990 Cinder Cone
18” Centre BB to top of seat tube / 21.5” Centre of seat tube to centre of head tube
Forks 1990 Project Two
Stem Velocity 6”
Mechs are Suntour MXCD and the cantis are Suntour with self-energising to the rear. XCLTD brake levers and Xpress shifters (nice agricultural shift)
Azonic bars
Kalloy seatpost
New Modus headset
New Shimano BB (can't remember which particular spec, but very little use)
No dents and the paint is excellent with the only scrape being to the left leg of the forks as shown in the pic.
This builds into a very nice seriously rideable bike and forms the best part of a period correct build.
The pictures were taken shortly before I started to strip it.
Price: £140 and I'll deliver it within 100 miles of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, or £125 plus delivery.
