So I was after a new bike to use on club night rides, I have a reputation for riding the oldest and least reliable bike to keep up, and I thought that a green Courier Comp would make me visible to cars.

Plan is to upgrade the bike a bit to try and shed some of the weight to make it a bit more sprightly, whilst also hopefully making it a little more reliable with new tyres etc.

Plan is for a Deore drive train, metal canti's, lighter bars, modern tyres and some better wheels.

Stolen the first 2 pics off the seller. As you can see the hard work of stripping has already been done.

That's some seat post you got there son...just how long are you?!!

Not my set up, it's currently being posted to me, the pic is the sellers. We'll have to see how much post I need I guess a lot less than that

Looking forward to this build .

I'm guessing the previous owner lived in Harlem , and was pretty handy with a basketball

Alas I am not a basketball player! At the time I literally just popped the post in a tad for a mock up photo. Will be good to see someone finish this, shame I lost the retro love :(
