In 1990 I bought a new Marin Eldridge and I rode it right up until a year ago when the chain snapped. As all of the bearings and cables need replacing, I thought I'd make it a project, but a year on and it hasn't been touched, and I doubt it will be. Apart from tyres, grips, cables chain and break pads - it's all original (27 years of chips and scratches inc') . No modern bike would be as reliable or robust, but I enjoy modern geometry more, so I'm letting the Marin go. Sensible offers please?
