Yer thought that too when I read it as well.
Hope the photos and specs will help with the build plus the decals are pink.
And the cable routing is under not through the top tube.
The bit where it meets the hanger for u brake looks a mess on this!

My 92, takes a 27.4, but they come with a 4 inch long shim to stop the seatpost seizing into the frame I guess.

The size on my 1990 Gt Xizang le SN#TTN27 is 29.8

Thanks I got a shim off eBay in the end 29.8mm to 27.2 and a carbon post bikes built now but never added decals.

Will update later
