1990 Brodie Climbmax project complete

this was one of the first 10 in March, 1990, post-U brake. I purchased the restored frame with new powder coating and built it up with DX and Xt period parts, Breezer stem and 1990 Rocky Flat bar, DX hubs laced to Mavic 231 hoops, 1990 Post moderne and some old WTB Velociraptors. All finished, the lucky bit was finding a 1990 P2 fork, sadly Gator blades and brodie stems are tough to find.

Nice - gotta love an early Brodie. Those and the Ritchey Ultra are my unicorns. I'm trying to fill the gap with a Kona presently as I just can't find a Brodie I can afford.

I've got an early 90's cinder cone hulk with pretty much everything but the drivetrain. It needs a repaint/powder coat. I've got a mixed bag of period correct XT and LX that will replace the missing bits. Hopefully a summer/fall project.
