1990 Alpinestars Cro Mega dx is it worth anything?

Hello, I'm trying to sell my dad's Mountainbike. Frame and saddle are in good condition but everything else needs some service.

Is it actually worth anything?

Absolutely! Looks decent enough in the pics and should be easy to fix up. Alpinestars of this era always sell well so if you offer postage I imagine it would be worth £150/200 easily enough.

I had one of these, heavy but that doesn't matter!

That is an iconic colour scheme, very fashionable again now in some places so yeah stick it on ebay. Get a bike box from your local bike shop and offer shipping by paisley freight (£29) and you will get over a hundred I'd say.

If you are in the north west i may be interested.

Sounds good. I'm in Germany actually so shipping might be a bit more expensive. I'll probably clean it and put up some photos in December.

You might get even more for it in Germany, they love retro mtbs there
