Made a few subtle tweaks to my Stumpjumper.

LX chainset, DX seatpost and Flite saddle.

Flite needs a good polish up with some leather balm thats I've already brought, so there is my job for the weekend, along with adjusting the front mech.

chainset and seatpost, big thunbs up. flite looks too new though, only my opinion!

i can see it taking me all weekend to adjust the front mech but i bet you are a bit quicker than that!

Theres a lot more involved (wet paint) to moving that (wet paint) front mech back to a (wet paint) correct height...

Need a warm day, some wet & dry and a can of Ford brilliant red...

Might just be easier to try the DX one I've got then like you suggested. Much as I like the LX one, I'm not overly enthused about shifting the mech if it involves repainting the seat tube.

wouldnt take more than an hour and a barbecue...

Looks great.

Really shows how Specialized used more "modern" geometry than other makes in the late 80's early 90's.

I'll PM or text you tonight once I've checking the Boss's diary, but it certainly sounds like an appealing plan 8)

Thanks.

The geometry is spot on. Its the best riding bike I've ever owned. Cant believe I nearly sold it a year or so back.
