1989 Specialized Stumpjumper - Update 5/11/09

looks nice, in a subtle sort of way. Needs colour matched fork from a visual point of view, but obviously won't make it ride any nicer.

Updated the Stupmjumper today, with the addition of some mint Future Shocks.

Spot on that Pickle. Those forks look immaculate.

Thanks. Not ridden them yet, but they seem buttery smooth 8)

Ride report to follow soon

Superb if you sell in the future give me a shout and some warning I just love this bike

Cheers kirbdug

The future shox are really good preforming shocks for back in the early 90's (if a little flexy). I'm sure i dont need to tell you as that looks like a very well maintained machine but just becareful tightening the canti boss bolts the magnesium is quite soft - i used to know a shop mechanic (who wasn't that good) who stripped 3 pairs - this was back in 93.
The bosses hold on the fork brace, so its pretty fatal.

Looks 8) Are you keeping it now?

Yup

Keeping the Pennine and RTS for the memories from my racing days, and the Zaskar and Stumpjumper as they are classic MTB's 8)
