1989 Scott Boulder barn find

Found this 1989 Scott Boulder 16" today. It looks very original, even down to the grips, saddle and tyres. I rode it back to my studio, some 4 miles and it was fine. Though it does need a service. And I only just noticed the seat post is back to front. I was going to sell my 89 Scott Windriver and this but I might keep them as they make a nice pair. Not much space though! Usual sorry eh? Thought I'd share it to this with an interest in Scott or bike barn finds in general.

that is a very nice find !
looks all original indeed

Thanks! Work in progress. Thought I'd see what it looks like with some bigger tan walls. Needs a full service. The heavy stand has gone and the seat post removed. The previous owner had sawn it off so there was only about an inch in the frame when I rode it here...

It's too bad those Ritchey tires aren't in better shape. You'd be able to probably sell the tires to pay for the entire bike and then some

Re:

Nice bike in very oryginal shape! From pics I can see seat QR and maybe seatpost aren't from the set, rest looks oryginal
Lucky You, especialy about size (it's not easy to find small sizes od '80 bikes...)
