1989 Ridgeback 602 - Update 160116

I've just acquired a Ridgeback 602 for a steal but the rear wheel isnt original and completely missing its front brakes.

Overall the paint is very good for its age and the groupset doesnt show much sign of wear.

More pictures to follow but here is the page for the 1989 Freewheel catalogue (but mine must be a slightly later model as the rear U-brake has now changed to a standard canti).

Yep, looks like it should clean up nicely. Doesn't look to have had a hard life overall.

Update - stupidly stripped the thread of the LH crank so had to source another one, and in the process managed to get a bike that also had the correct wheels as per the Madison catalogue spec which was a result. I have the correct seat but it needs to be repaired so at the mo going with this one.

I also had a pair of canti's from Brocklands023 which later on I wouldn't use as i managed to score an almost new groupset off the bay to replace anything tired on this build.

Really happy with the ride,, I just need the time ot ride it now.
