For Sale 1989 60cm Raleigh Touriste £170

I've got the same bike, same size, same condition and am impressed with it. I like your touch with the ring guard on your chainset - not an easy item to find these days and it looks good too. Mine had very low miles but the UG chain was certainly elongated - strange. The rims are lovely and the metallic grey over black has all sorts of colour flecks in it when you look close up. Mine rides really well now and I'm a fan of Biopace, although the HP version is my preference. 27.2 seat post so a proper 531 main triangle. To my mind it's a £250+ bike in that condition even in this rotten market - I wouldn't want to sell mine for less and its rarer than a Royal. Decent M450 hubs, 105 levers and alloy mudguards that really shine when you T cut them...

Space limitations mean I have to sell mine. I have put it on Ebay today with good phots and a hard sell. Let's see what this lousy market thinks about it in late summer. It may be a struggle to sell in what seems like a shrinking market, but I have a good selling history for the money I think things are worth and have rarely had to climb down much at all. That said, I have not sold a tourer for quite a while. Whilst it is a clearly a buyers market, the amount of good stuff out there is thinning out it seems to me - perhaps people are holding on? Wish me luck, I'll need it.

Is postage in the UK available on this ?

And are the wheels 700c or 27" ?
Dont confuse mine with the one for sale on this thread which is cracking value at £170. I just think mine, which may? have had a bit more polishing and the like, will fetch more on Ebay..

So what am I doing with this then?

Licking it? (In the privacy of my own sex dungeon of course)

Riding it? (Which is daft as nobody does that sort of thing round here anymore)
