New in 1988...been through a few changes, and the paintjob you see here is the second by the renowned Chas Roberts(Chas also removed the u-brake).
Specification is as follows: Shimano Deore Chainset with Tioga outer & middle, & Specialised inner rings. Deore XT front & rear mech & thumbshifters. Deore XTR brakeset, Deore BB.
Deore XT hubs and freewheel, Mavic M231cd rims & stainless spokes. Panaracer Smoke tyres. Marin seatpin and Specialized titanium railed saddle. Specialized stem with an Answer Taperlite 2 bar with Specialized grey grips.
I bent the original fork(crash)so fitted these fat Tange ones with a Campagnolo headset. Pedals: MKS/Deore copies with Christophe plastic clips and nylon toestraps-I've always been a toeclips and straps man offroad.
