Great work Paul. I was watching that bike on eBay - really glad you got it and brought it back to life.

Tell me though - how was that 'more comfortable' setup? You must have had a spin before sorting it out:)

I thought for a moment I was Peter Fonda...

Re:

Super work as usual.

I'd go cartridge bb when replacing but i'm lazy and dont have same tool access as you!

Ride noticeably better than the blizzard?

Maybe old bikes are the future ?
Old is the new new.

Do you live in a 'mtb hall of fame' loft apartment?
No, but my workshop has been compared to the 'Dragon's Den' set, and everyone says I should live there. Except my girlfriend who seems to tolerate me living with her in our house. I think the fact that most of my crap has now migrated my workshop helps on this front.

The Blizzard is longer and the angles are slacker. Plus it's heavier. The Kili is lower, leaner and more nimble.
Of course, when the grips don't spin on the bars like they did on it's first ride on Saturday then I might be able to give it a bit more gusto. I love them both.

Does anyone really need more than this?
Probably not. But I must get round to building up my 1990 Kili Flyer Comp next...
