1988 Marin Palisades

Picked up this 1988 Marin Palisades last week. To be fair it was in pretty condition so all I've done is give it a good clean and add some new tan walls.

Normally I'm a bit of a bike snob and wouldn't get too excited over a Palisades but something about this just looks right to me.

Tidy! Really like the black hub/rim combo. But where are the pedals gone?

Cheers. Was waiting for the paint to dry as I gave them a tidy up. Now fitted.

Very nice Such nice comfy bikes to ride, built mine from a frame and found a donor bike with exage country..... lesser group than original spec but still very useable and it Looks a treat

Aaah, my first bike. Brings back memories. Rode to Switzerland on mine when I was 16 and spent many summers exploring Yorkshire in day-glo Lycra. Bloody loved it.

very nice! I wonder if the one I found today is am 88? Been trying to figure that out. It's in like new condition. Seems like it was ridden down the block then put away for years!
