Looks good! I think I remember reading something about this project last year, or maybe my memory is all mixed up. Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing the finished bike! 1987 was the year that got me into cycling! do you have all the parts except forks?

Good to see you are rebuilding the old bike. I didn't realise that you had aero brake levers back in 1987, but just checked "Wide Eyed & legless" & the photos in there confirm it.
I seem to recall you then went to Z Peugeot for a couple of years.
Anyway good luck with the bike I'd like to see some photos of the finished product.

It was impressive as a box of bits. Even better now! I'll bring that Gazelle TT bike in next time I'm near. I think it needs something doing with the tyres.

Does your bike have a 24mm seatpost? Tube shimmed down to suit? Any idea why?

one of my favourite bikes of the 80s. you still see the occasional assos anc halfords jersey appear on ebay. one of my favourite memories of seeing this bike getting a hammering was by joey mcloughlin..2.06mins into this video = check it out!!
