Picked this up as a job lot off eBay along with 2 other bikes this week. The others aren’t anything to get excited about but this one is something I’ve been looking for in a while - and my size too 56cm, bit of luck.
I’ve got a few bits and bobs kicking about to make this into quite a nice fixie.

Got it stripped down, kurust on the bad bits(!) and a quick t-cut on the frame and wire wool and autosol on the forks.
Gave the bb and headset a service too.
Most of the parts I took off have gone straight in the bin, just need some 1/2 decent 700c wheels and we’re in business.
Watch this space. :)

Thanks for the positive comment, I’m keen to progress on this. Picked up some decent modern Bontrager wheels this evening locally after winning them on eBay. Not bad for £15. Think I have everything now to start building it up. 🤞

Made a start building this up this afternoon, went with a short GB stem and some BLB bars which I had. Tektro levers, 23mm tyres and brown leather wrap also from my spares stash.
Callipers are original to the bike and seem to do the job, we’ll see on those.
Just need chainset and pedals and I can try it out..
