1984 Specialized Stumpjumper 20" $195 usd BIN

can't belive this is still here. can anyone help with postage to the uk?
please? call it a christmas pressie if you will. ;-}

Does anyone know how 'original' and 'genuine' all the parts are. I know it's hard to tell from the photos, but I'm trying to compare it to some photos on Mombat (http://mombat.org/1984_Stumpjumper_Sport.htm) and straight away, I notice that the forks are not 'bi-planar'.

I'm tempted. I don't have anything 'retro' in terms of MTB and would like to go way back, and always liked Stumpjumpers. And I like black frames too.

15 minutes to go - still no reply from the seller offering me a price for UK shipping....oh well. Maybe he'll relist it and let me know ? Maybe I shouldn't care - there will be something else along soon won't there ?

It's an 84 Sport, so the unicrown fork would be original for it. It looks to be fairly original. Though if he is not responding, then I wouldn't give him business.
I'd offer to help but I have three bikes currently awaiting shipment overseas; it's a bit crowded at the moment :shock:
