1983 Ritchey Everest

Retro Newbie
Well, I lucked out and recently found this unrestored 1983 Ritchey Everest in mint condition. All I need is a pair of IRC racer x1 tires to make it 100% original .

 I sold my 1985 Ritchey in the early 90's  wish I would have kept it.

Re:

I actually found this on craigslist. The owner inherited it from a good friend and really was not sure what he had. It sat on the market for over a week until people took notice. It really is in almost new condition and rides great....even though it's more my city bike...I take out my vintage beaters on the trails. I'll post more pics soon.

Re:

The owner actually went to a bike shop to have it appraised and they told him some low ball figures.. I think they wanted it! I ended up buying it for quit of bit, however, I think 1/3 of what I could get on e-bay. I just couldn't let this one slip by.

Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow  !

The fork crown, the seat lug, the bottom bracket and the colour.
It's all so perfect 8) !

Re:

''You lucky lucky b*stard'' as someone once said!

Not sure why I don't find bikes like this at my local car boot.... yes I do.

Fantastic bike and the colour is just spot on.
